Shahbaz Ahmed, the left-arm spinner, was indeed bought back by the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the 2022 IPL Mega Auction. RCB engaged in a bidding war with the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) but ultimately secured Shahbaz's services for INR 2.4 crore. Known for his bowling skills as a spinner and his handy batting ability, Shahbaz has played a total of 13 games in the IPL, with his best bowling figures being 3/7. Shahbaz Ahmed made his first List-A appearance for Bengal in the 2018-19 season of the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
